The poet in me woke last night with blinding revelation
I solved life's remaining puzzles with Euclidean quantization
Fermats theorum reduced itself to four lines of calculation
Buses appearing in threes was stopped using reductive randomization

The hounds of war, the death of kings henceforth could be controlled
By intellectual reasoning were I to be so bold
Cold fusion too was simplified with energy for all
Another Eden rediscovered at a time before the fall

I prevented floods, controlled disease, reversed the global warming
And even with diplomacy stopped racial hates from forming
I was honoured, feted and decorated, with Nobel prizes three awarded
Which I modestly accepted, ( I think, in fact, the most recorded)

So what is wrong and why am I still yet so discontented
I have it all, the world is mine, this world that I've invented
The problem is, despite my schemes plus prayers to the gods above
I haven't yet quite worked out how to win the girl I love
