Having a cold just isn't romantic
I'm being attacked by bugs going frantic
Miserable microbes molesting me madly
Are doing their best to make me feel badly
But after some beer and a large tot of rum
They're beginning to lose, I'm beginning to win
So when the day dawns I'll be sharper than ever
My immune system's as clever as clever
So don't write me off coz I'm smarter than most
I'm not old enough yet to turn into a ghost
So as the bugs leave and the fever stops burning
I eagerly pray for romance returning
