Timothy 6:10 for the love of money............. The girl who I love has gone quite money mad From a 'have not' she's turning right into a 'have' To be really broke is no kind of joke But the cost of these riches is proving quite sad Her passion no longer is fuelled by her need More by a raging, raw, rampant greed She does a good job of that there's no doubt But sometimes I question what that job's about If value for money's the name of the game I guess she should try to treat all men the same But, of course, in this capitalist world that we live Some men have very much more they can give So she offers much more to the rich funded punter Her body and heart she puts into th'encounter Or so she says, though of course it's not true Her heart's not for sale, as he'll later rue She sweeps up his money and with no further ado Breaks his spirit, his bank, leaves his heart split in two So the question I ask is "just how many Baht Does it take to repay, for a man's broken heart. In all these transactions does love never linger Or am I alone just a single sad singer." |
