Chapter 93 The Princess and the Frog: Once upon a time not so very long ago, in a far off land where coconuts grew on trees and the sun was forever warm, there lived a princess whose beauty was only exceeded by her avarice. She would go down to the lake every morning to admire her reflection in the water. Suddenly whilst gazing at her reflection she realized how she could become rich. "I am certainly beautiful" she said,"so I shall sell kisses to the many men who admire me." So she set up her stall in the nearby town and put up a sign which said, "Kisses for sale. Any man who wishes to kiss me must pay me one silver shilling. Any man wishing to be kissed by me must pay me one golden sovereign." She was immediately successful. Men of all descriptions, short, tall, thin, fat, young, old, handsome or ugly, queued up to pay their respects and receive their prizes. Until one day a stranger who was not old but not young, who was not fat but not thin, who was not handsome but not plain, approached her stall and stared at her, his eyes searching deep into her soul. "Do not do this" he said."Kisses are not for sale, they should be tokens of love and affection. This misuse will harm both you and all of your customers". Before she could reply the stranger vanished into the darkness. That night the princess counted her money, shrugged her beautiful shoulders and forgot the stranger. The next morning, as was her custom, she went down to the lake to view her reflection. She gazed into the water, expecting to see the reflection of her beauty, but what she saw was the reflection of a frog. ...........................................
