Not long ago I met a lady who was exceedingly beautiful. Combined with this beauty she had a real talent for making men happy. Indeed so effective was she at this that at one stage she was having relationships with five farangs all of whom believed they loved her.
The resulting sponsorship meant that she was, at least in the short term, a quite wealthy lady.
(At least ฿30000 x 5 / month plus income from other more casual clients... do the maths yourself).

For those amongst us who believe that nothing matters except money then it would seem that the lady was a very successful business person.

However her business plan had two serious flaws.
The first was that each of these five clients was being cheated and deceived and it was not long before more than one of them found out what was happening and realized that he had 'been taken for a ride' as it were.
The second problem was that, again, more than one of the farangs got angry about being cheated like this and vowed that since she broke his heart then he would break something of hers. (Not a gentleman I fear. The presumption that farangs are 'gentlemen' is about as valid as the presumption that Thai ladies are 'ladies').
The result was that her apartment was smashed up and she had to flee for her own personal safety.
Hmmm! A sobering story indeed.
I wonder what happened to her? Actually I know what happened to her but that is a story for another day.
